ANOTHER EPIC WIN! This Sunday 10/6 the Denver Broncos and the Las Vegas Raiders took the field for their big rival game! It was also a throwback weekend, so we wore our sweet old-school uniforms! In addition, it was also Hall of Fame weekend, so seeing the players get their statues and be a part of something incredibly cool was sweet. A lot was going on! Fortunately, the Broncos took the DUB and looked incredible! Everything about the game was full of thrills; the fans brought their energy, and the stadium was LOUD! There were some remarkable plays; some players had some picks and sacks. I haven't gotten to talk much about what a game day looks like for the Broncos, so today I am beyond excited to share this blog with you guys! It was a jam-packed, long day but worth every minute. I wouldn't trade it for anything else! I get to work with the best team ever. NFL games look slightly different from college games, and I am excited to share what a day in life looks like!

Morning game activities: The start of these game days have always been early because a ton goes into the behind-the-scenes of hosting a home game. I woke up around 4:30 am because I had to shower, get ready, and pack the bag. Then I hopped in the car with the legendary carpool. I am fortunate enough to have some of my fellow CU buff students also get to work with me! Once we got there, it was still dark, but we hoped right into a meeting. It went over everything we were going to do today and assigned different tasks to different people! Today, I was on Mane Street and was assigned to a couple of in-game marketing activities, and it was SO fun. I was thrilled. Then, once everything is gone over what we are going to do today we get to work with set up!
Set up: We get to the stadium early because we are in charge of setting up some of our favorite fan spots, such as Mane Street and all their fun activities, as well as our big "Miles" pur mascot inflatable and just other-fan interactions. We brought the fun. This was a big game. We had some extra things to do, but it overall enhanced the experience of the iconic Empower stadium. We also help with corporate partnerships such as Ikon and help them set up their marketing activities.

The game: NFL games are always very fast-paced, and you must always keep your head in the game & be focused. It was very hard to film all the key moments because you are always in the moment. I was on Mane Street until kick-off, and then I went inside to help with some of our in-game entertainment, such as the barrel race and a couple others I just hoped on. It's all hands on deck to make sure the game runs smoothly. We usually finish all our tasks before the game is even done. The day goes by very fast, and before you know it, you are taking down all the stuff we put up and wrapping up. Overall, this game was super fun and was definitely one for the books.
